The Juan Bosco Obrero Center encourages and develops an informal process of technical training (non-classroom) and of social development in the area called Ciudad Bolívar and other nearby depressed areas such as Altos de Cazucá so that their populations, preferably the poorest and most abandoned youth who find themselves at high risk, may find there an integrated personal development to prepare for productive work, as well as active promotion of their human condition and a positive role in the growth of the communities of which they are a part. For that reason, the integrated personal development pursued in the Center includes preventive measures against drug addiction, violence, and the exploitation of minors, and it favors all activities related to the conquest of peace, defense of the dignity of young people, and the practical promotion of human rights.
